Over 1000 Cachao fans gathered at the Gusman Center in Miami to watch the last documentary made on the maestro. The film had its East Coast premiere at the Miami International Film Festival last Tuesday. Following the screening and Q&A, Garcia invited a special group of musicians on stage to present an impromptu performance that highlighted Cachao's music.
